Admissions

Pinewood Christian Academy offers a rolling admissions and acceptance policy. Interested families are invited to submit their applications any time during the year. Please note: in an
effort to keep our student-teacher ratios low, we cannot guarantee space in every class.

All applicants must agree to the following:
  1. Families who send their children to PCA should desire both an intimate knowledge of Christ and an excellent education for their children; anything less puts the school and the home at cross-purpose, which can be detrimental to the child. Therefore, at least one parent must be a professing Christian, adhere to the basic precepts of historic, orthodox Christianity, and attend a local church regularly. A written endorsement from a local church will be required.
  2. While Pinewood Christian Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin, we do reserve the right to select students on the basis of past academic performance, as well as the family’s spiritual commitment, lifestyle choices, and willingness to cooperate with school personnel and to abide by school policies.
  3. Our mission is to partner with Christian families. Partnership implies mutually beneficial cooperation. Therefore, families must commit to actively supporting the faculty, administration, and staff as we work together to provide an excellent education in an environment that emphasizes both compassion and responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, providing daily support and accountability with academics, complying with disciplinary practices, and upholding the Biblical values that are foundational to all school policies and practices. *Click here for our Definitions and Guidelines Regarding a Biblical Lifestyle

Tuition

Pinewood Christian Academy works very hard to maintain a tuition that is accessible while
providing an excellent education program. We believe our students benefit from instruction,
facilities, and resources that rival our peers while paying a competitive tuition rate.

Tuition may be paid in full (with a $100 discount) or in 10 monthly installments. Families must  complete an enrollment contract and arrange for regular
payment of tuition and fees.

There are no fees for Florida VPK eligible students. Families enrolling at PCA for VPK do not pay the application fee, enrollment fee, or tuition.
