High School

High School Education

Pinewood Christian Academy’s high school program currently includes grades 9 and 10, with plans to expand by one grade level each year. We are excited to add 11th grade in the fall of 2026, and 12th grade in 2027, anticipating our first graduating class in May 2028.

At Pinewood Christian Academy, we foster a nurturing environment where students embark on a journey of academic excellence, spiritual growth, and meaningful life experiences. Our commitment to holistic education is reflected in our innovative partnerships and distinctive graduation requirements, which set us apart from other institutions.

Partnership with St. Johns River College
Dual Enrollment Program

Starting in the second semester of their sophomore year, PCA high school students have the unique opportunity to participate in our Dual Enrollment Program with St. Johns River College. This partnership allows students to earn college credits while still in high school, providing them with valuable exposure to higher education coursework and preparing them for future academic challenges.

A Vibrant High School Experience

Life at PCA is not just about academics. Our high school program offers students a variety of special events that contribute to a vibrant and engaging school culture. These activities help foster a strong sense of community, encourage friendship, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Some of the exciting events include:
  • Winter and Spring Dances
  • Weekly Chapel Services
  • Outdoor Lunches
  • Field Trips
  • Monthly Coffeehouse Hour

Our prayer is that every student graduates firmly rooted in Scripture.  We strive to equip students not only for academic excellence but a desire to live a life for God’s glory ."I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." - 3 John 1:4

Additional Graduation Requirements

At PCA, we believe in preparing our students for more than just academic success. To ensure they are well-rounded and ready for the next chapter of their lives, we have a few additional graduation requirements:
  • Senior Capstone Project: A comprehensive, hands-on project that encourages students to apply their skills and passions in a real-world context.

  • Volunteer Service: In order to be eligible for the Bright Futures Scholarship, students must complete community service hours, fostering a spirit of service and giving back to the community.
